The Digital Communications team is growing and we would like to take this opportunity to introduce our four newest recruits.

IMG_1988.JPGWe’re pleased to have Duncan Sanderson joining our team as a web developer, mainly working on web support.

Duncan has spent the last three years working as a data analyst/web developer at Edinburgh Napier University and has worked in various IT related jobs before that. He is pleased to be joining the team and having the opportunity to developing his web skills further.

When not answering web support calls he enjoys cycling, photography, ultimate frisbee, watching TV/films and sleeping.

Aaron Lott Profile pictureWe’re happy to welcome Aaron Lott who has also joined our team as a web developer.

Aaron hails from Southern California and is living in St Andrews with his wife who is studying history at the University. He’s always enjoyed computers but only in the last few years has he worked in that field, coming from having to sweat for a living as an apprentice pipefitter.

When not carefully crafting websites he enjoys video games of all varieties, reading science fiction and making progress on his own sci-fi novel.

Felicity hasn’t come quite as far as Duncan or Aaron, having previously worked for the Health Behaviour in School-aged Children study based at the University’s School of Medicine. With a background in publishing and communications, Felicity is looking forward to the challenges that her new role will bring.

In her spare time, Felicity enjoys horse riding, hill walking and outdoor pursuits in general.

Jenny HeadshotWe are thrilled to welcome Jenny Hamrick to our team as web content editor and trainer.

Jenny has roots in Texas but has spent the last year working on her postgraduate degree at Stirling. She has an education background in literature, writing/editing and publishing. She is excited to start training staff and student here at St Andrews.

When not conducting training courses, Jenny likes to read, hike and travel.

Keep your eyes peeled for project updates and blog posts from Duncan, Aaron, Felicity and Jenny in the coming weeks and months.
