Digital learning and teaching design sprints
The digital communications team is running two design sprints to help us improve the ‘My Courses’ portal for current students and the digital teaching environment for members of academic staff.
During these design sprints, we will provide some baseline data about how the systems are currently performing and what the end-user requirements are. Then, participants will work collaboratively to come up with potential design solutions. Based on your designs, we will create new prototype pages.
No previous design experience is necessary.
- Staff design sprint on Wednesday 20 March from 12.30pm to 16.30pm. Includes refreshments.
- Student design sprint on Thursday 21 March from 9am to 1pm. Student participants will be given £25 Amazon gift vouchers for attending.
We need your help! We are trying to recruit students and staff for their respective design sprints. Please pass along this information to anyone who may be interested in participating (both staff and students) in your School or department. If you are interested in participating yourself, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Depending on how much interest the design sprints have, we may need to add volunteers to a waiting list.
