Digital Communications team update – May 2021
Latest updates from the digital communications team and useful articles and resources relating to digital best practice for May 2021.
Careers website redesign
We have kicked off the content creation phase for the project. This is the longest phase as it requires multiple stakeholders and sign-off processes.
We started with paired writing sessions that provided invaluable training opportunities. This has enabled the Careers Centre information officers to create content on their own that will then be passed back to Digital Communications for a final check. This approach has also enhanced the efficiency of the content creating process, freeing up the Digital Communications team to work on other parts of the site.
We have already prototyped some designs for job listing and events, and will be looking at how to integrate these feeds into the site. We are also exploring graduate destination data and whether this could be brought in to the site from central sources.
