Latest updates from the digital communications team for February 2022.

What do you think of the University’s websites?

The Digital Communications team is conducting a survey to learn how students and staff engage with the University’s websites. Have your say. All feedback is welcome.

School search updates

We have been making improvements to the search functionality on the School sites. The updates will make results more relevant to each School and will also keep users on the School site rather than redirecting them to the main University website. We do not anticipate there to be any disruption to the search service while updates take place. However, should you experience any problems please get in touch.

A/B testing the course page design

At the end of last year, we began A/B testing a new page design on the English MA and Biology BSc course pages. The test is ongoing and we will be using Hotjar to determine the difference in usage. Once the test is completed we will share our findings on the Digital Communications blog.
