Digital Communications team update – June 2023
Latest updates from the Digital Communications team at the University of St Andrews for June 2023.
Updates to online postgraduate courses webpage
We have assessed the usage of the online postgraduate courses page and, based on our findings, proposed the following changes:
- Restructure the page to prioritise the full list of available online courses.
- Remove the decorative image.
- Optimise the structure of the page to perform better on mobile.
These changes were approved, and you can now view the updated page.
Working with Student Services
Over the summer, together with Student Services, we are drafting web content and are redesigning how information to support students will appear online. We hope this work will greatly improve the student experience of the website and make it easier for students to find the services and information they need.
Finance Improvement Project web content review
To support the new system that will launch later this year, we are holding meetings and workshops with staff in different teams within Finance. Through these discussions, we are understanding the top tasks and critical, sometimes complex information needed for the launch. To ensure this information is covered, we are reviewing and writing new web content with Finance staff.
