New Web Content Editor
Hello readers!
I’m Lauren and I just joined the Digital Communications team as a Web Content Editor.
I graduated from St Andrews in 2013 with an MA (General) degree, joined the Principal’s Office team in 2014, and moved to the Communications team in 2015, where I worked for the past eight years (almost to the day). It was a wonderful roller coaster ride in a fast-paced and varied department, where I found myself increasingly interested in creating and editing web content.
I have been involved in some way or another in building websites since they first came on the commercial scene back in the last century – 1990s – and have been developing my digital skills in Comms for the past few years, so moving to the Digital team as a content editor feels like the perfect move.
When I’m not at work, I’ll be looking after my two dogs – Loki and Harry – and watching movies with my husband and son (and the dogs). I also spend time taking photographs, organising the thousands of photographs I’ve taken, working on our family tree, and trying to follow cross-stitch patterns.
I’m truly excited to be a part of the Digital team and really looking forward to making a positive impact on the University web pages. I’m also looking forward to working with old and new colleagues in my new role.
You can find out more about me in my In the Loop Talking Saints entry and get in touch or ask me questions on [email protected].
